It has been pointed out to me since Remus' disappearance that we should have a way of keeping track of each other. It is no one person's fault that we did not notice he was gone, but it is something we ought to be able to prevent in future. I would like ideas on how this could be accomplished.

A few things that have been suggested:
a method to request emergency assistance, quicker than journals or OWLs (personally I have always used a patronus for this, but if there is anything more accessible to everybody I would like to hear about it)
a spell to monitor when people lose consciousness, in case they are unable to ask for assistance
a buddy system where you have to check in with a named person every couple of days

Any thoughts?

They've got him, I'm pretty sure. I don't know what we can do about it until we know where he is or they make some contact. I'm assuming they're trying to get information out of him or they'd be rubbing our noses in it by now.

Snape told me. He said they're interrogating him and he's scheduled a personal interrogation session with him if there's anything we have to say to him. At the moment all I can come up with is 'sorry.'

That was a stupid time to get flu. I do apologise. At least I think the Death Eaters have been quiet as well. I wouldn't forgive myself if I'd been in bed when there was some huge battle going on.

I thought with some of the patients you have on your ward, you might have some expertise in mental health healing. A friend of mine is having flashbacks that temporarily cripple her. Different things set them off, but loud noises amongst them. She finds herself back in Azkaban and she can't move. Is there any sort of potion that might help, or some kind of therapy?

I know we all have slaves we want to free and Death Eaters we want to bring down, but I think we have to be careful about it. We need to prioritise and we need to look for weak spots in security. I think Bellatrix Lestrange's house would be the most pressing need, but are there any other slaves suffering more than the usual, who might be in houses easier to access?

Also, it's about time we made a new attack. Any suggestions for where?

Do we think it's going to be possible to get all Order members to a training camp at once, and is that wise considering we'd then all be in one nice targettable location for the Death Eaters? Any other ideas forthcoming?

I'd like to call a meeting of The Order of the Phoenix, this Wednesday at 7 at the Italy safehouse. A number of us 'old-timers' in the Order have been discussing things and we have come up with a solution concerning the difficulties in deciding direction for the Order. We'd like for you to hear what we have to say, and that includes those of you who were with us until recently. I'd really appreciate it if you were there.

I've had an overwhelming response to your request, and there seem to be several possibilities, depending on what exactly you need.

1) For a long-term strategy, we could attempt to reach an agreement with an Order-allied country to house them in a hospital there.
2) The Order has its own clinic and healer, and it might be possible to temporarily house them there if we can sort out security.
3) If space is all you need, the Order has a number of properties not currently occupied by members that could potentially provide shelter.

Do you have plans for an evacuation and transportation procedure, or is that an area where you would also require our assistance?

However complicated things get, they are always more complicated than you think they are.

But I'm not even going to start on any of that right now. Things are complicated enough already. I have two quite simple requests for you.

1) I have Gregory Goyle's dog. I'm happy to take care of it but if anybody else would like the custody of it, let me know. I'd like to keep it in one of the safehouses just because... they're safe. More or less. I know it's only a dog, but it seems to matter to him a great deal, and the poor boy deserves something for all he has given up by following his conscience.

2) I've been approached by a certain Healer who is concerned for the safety of her patients should Bellatrix Lestrange go on another rampage. I've told her we can find a safe place for them if such an emergency occurs. Can anybody think of a suitable place?

I know we're preoccupied with other things right now but... has anyone else noticed it's stopped? And do we know (a) if it's actually stopped or if the Lestranges have just stopped smearing the evidence in their journals, (b) why, and (c) what they are up to now? I hope they have stopped, and I hope it is because they have seen the futility of their efforts. But considering we were going to target the Ministry whilst at least some of the Death Eaters being busy making displays of their cruelty, I'm a little worried that they might not be distracted any more or, even worse, may have wind of our plans.
